Support Our Hips

Our hips are important, they support the weight of your body while static (e.g. standing) and dynamic (e.g. walking, running, etc). But often they aren’t given the respect they deserve. Through hours sitting, whether that be work, driving car, watching TV, reading a book, etc. It all takes a toll on our hips, making them stiff and sometimes painful.


One of the easiest things we can all do to help our hips is move regularly and stretch more. I often think that when we wake up, we go from being completely static (asleep/lying down), to standing and moving (often rushing in the mornings, if you are like me). No time is given to looking after your body and doing a pre get up stretch. It may really help how you feel (physically and mentally).


I offer a stretching plan, as part of my treatment with clients. But I can also offer them as a one off plan without treatment, I will just need a telephone consultation to understand your bodies capabilities.
