A side effect from being a Sports Massage Therapist is that I can't help but watch how other people walk or stand. Are the feet/ankles walking straight, are the knees aligned, are backs straight or is the spine miss-aligned.
These sorts of issues can arise for many different reasons and our bodies just like to keep going, so quite often that is what we do without realise what might be causing our lower back pain, ankle discomfort or knee pain.
As part of the assessment I undertake before discussing or undertaking treatment is to review what your specific situation is, what your activity levels are, stress levels and review medical information associated with the injury/pain/soreness. To make sure I give you the right treatment, or refer you as appropriate.
